After serving almost twenty years in the military, I will be returning home to take over the family farm next summer. My parents currently operate a 100-acre ranch located in the Coquille River Valley. This has been my mindset for almost ten years knowing that I would return home to my roots and allow my new family to have the same experiences I had growing up. After six assignments and one deployment to include Iceland, Italy, Germany, Colorado, Illinois, Alaska and North Africa, I have seen much of the world traveling to 35 countries across four continents.
The plan is to expand on the family’s current beef enterprise introducing poultry, pork and eggs products to our farm selection. The goal is to model Joel Salatin’s stacking of multiple enterprises on a grass pasture foundation, constantly rotating animals to allow the ground to recover and thrive. I have visited Mr. Salatin's Virginian farm multiple times and have witnessed firsthand that that his methods are practical and can be leveraged anywhere as long as put the effort into making it happen.
I am very excited of the prospect of returning home and starting a new adventure. This is a major lifestyle change for myself and my family as we return home to settle with a new life. Please subscribe for future updates as we roll out farm products starting in 2025. Also we're looking for a new name for the farm, so please share if you have any ideas.

Counting down the days!
