Branding the Farm

Naming our farm was a difficult decision, as we were overwhelmed by other businesses competing for the same name and website. Web domains such as blackberrylane.com or applelossomranch.com were already owned and cost thousands of dollars to purchase. We knew that our name had to reflect our heritage and speak to who we are. After spinning our wheels in the mud for months trying to come up with a name, we prayed about it and the name Enlisted Roots came to Jessica. The name speaks to my military career and coming full circle to return to my roots on the farm. Returning home provides my new family with the opportunity to live and grow up on the same homestead, being closer to our parents and grandparents. We are extremely excited to return back to Bandon/Coquille and have the opportunity to establish our roots after moving seven times in my career.
I am transitioning my blog and any farm updates to my Facebook page www.facebook.com/enlistedroots. I’m still working on my website and future online marketplace, so stay tuned. Please consider following my Facebook page and I look in hearing from you in the future.
